The Bump Collective organizes retreats and events throughout the year designed to bring as many perinatal resources together in one place for moms to learn and connect with our community. We stay active on social media between events to help connect moms with local providers and businesses.

Currently, we’re hosting two Perinatal Day Retreats per year - one in the spring, and one in late summer. We hope to increase these offerings as we grow!

The Bump Collective seeks to meet moms where they are - not where we think they should be. We strive to offer education, information, and validation for every type of perinatal journey - fertility struggles, IVF, C-sections, vaginal births, medicated births, unmedicated births, and anything else you can imagine. Your journey is valid and valued, no matter what that journey looks like.

Our day retreats run from mid-morning until mid-afternoon. The day starts with a prenatal yoga class, followed by a catered lunch and an opportunity to meet local businesses who serve moms. After the lunch and shopping break, attendees are split into smaller groups to attend breakout sessions with each of our providers. At the end of the day, the group gathers once more to announce raffle prize winners before taking a group picture and saying goodbye!

We work really hard to keep our retreats as accessible as possible for our community. Our prices are set taking into account the cost to rent a space, pay our providers fairly, cater a lunch, and make sure the day is as relaxed as possible for our moms. Since tickets are currently sold through EventBrite, the website also charges their own fees.

We are always seeking to add to our Extended Collective! If you are a perinatal provider (doctor, doula, midwife, photographer, nutritionist, or any other occupation that serves moms), please feel free to email us at thebumpcollectivenc@gmail.com - we would love to connect with you!
